European Vibe Entertainment S.L is a multicultural company with a specific goal to bring together vibrant people and allow them to experience the best of European life. Based in Madrid, Spain, the company was founded in 2003 and its first project was the organization of weekly student night called Party Vibe. At the time Party Vibe was a unique event in Madrid, drawing the international community and local students to a party which would be more typically found in the UK or America. Party Vibe was the first event in the city to feature live party games, shows on stage and international DJ's from across Europe. A sign of its success is that four years later Party Vibe is still being held every Wednesday from 11:30 pm at the Star Café (Metro: Arguelles, Madrid).
After the success of Party Vibe, European Vibe began planning other events at many of the premier venues in Madrid including Hard Rock Café, Ducados Café and Coyote Lounge. It soon became apparent that European Vibe parties were acquiring a fine reputation and a large fan base amongst both the Spanish and international communities. As a result it was decided to enhance our website by creating an interactive environment allowing partygoers, their friends and eventually 1000s of like minded web users to meet, interact and share their interests and experiences. The website was created in both English and Spanish which helped the growing community of users to interact and meet in an "intercambio" like environment. Since the launch of EuropeanVibe.com in 2004, it has gone on to become one of the fastest-growing websites in Spain, uniting people of many different nationalities and giving up to date information on the best of what Madrid has to offer.
The European Vibe expansion continued throughout 2005 with the creation of a further party Sugar & Spice. Sugar & Spice is now known across the city as the number one urban music night, attracting huge crowds each week and regularly being visited by international musicians and sports stars. Following on from its growth in the urban music scene, the company then decided to connect with an even wider audience by launching a weekly radio show on the Madrid based Evolution FM 87.5 station. The show features a weekly urban top 5, new releases, interviews and news stories from the world of Hip Hop, RnB and Reggaeton. You can listen to the show's host and producer DJ Jhose live through the wire or online every Thursday from 7 - 9pm.
In the autumn of 2007 European Vibe ventured outside of the urban music scene by inaugurating a new weekly party called Get Wild!. These parties take place at Lokua Club every Friday evening and provide a musical mix of the pop, rock and hip hop, as well as offering special drinks offers, games and contests on stage.
In 2006 European Vibe moved in to the publishing world by founding European Vibe Magazine - a free monthly lifestyle magazine for the English speaking community of Madrid. The magazine gives the latest information on cinema, travel, music, sport and culture and provides an extensive bar and restaurant section which acts as an essential guide to the permanent city residents, exchange students and the many tourists visiting the city. Since its conception the magazine have secured exclusive interviews with a number of high profile bands, artists and sporting stars including; The Kaiser Chiefs, The Feeling, Russell Simmons, Rev Run and English rugby captain Phil Vickery. Future plans for European Vibe magazine include expanding to other major Spanish and European cities.
